Review of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2000

The Department has recently commenced a review of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 (the Regulation). This review follows proposed changes to the Regulation’s parent Act, the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act).  While the EP&A Act provides the overarching framework for the planning system in NSW, the Regulation supports the day-to-day requirements of this system.

Manual for the WaterMark Certification Scheme

The Manual for the WaterMark Certification Scheme has been finalised and published on the ABCB website in preparation for the progressive implementation of the improved Scheme. The date for commencing the implementation of the improved WaterMark Certification Scheme has been moved to 1 August 2017.

Building Regulation and Certification Reform - Fire Safety
