Becoming a Hydraulic Services Consultant

Individuals considering a career in Hydraulic Engineering are encouraged to undertake a Diploma in Hydraulic Service (Plumbing) conducted by an accredited training institution. To be able to participate in the Diploma, you must first have attained a satisfactory level of achievement for Year 12 (or equivalent) including HSC English, Maths, Science or equivalent subjects, or successfully completed the Plumbing Trade Certificate 7996.

The AHSCA endorses distance learning courses to our members through the Yeronga TAFE College in Queensland. Distance learning programs are particularly helpful for those members who are geographically isolated, or find it difficult to attend face-to-face educational programs. Currently a Diploma of Engineering - Construction Hydraulics is available via distance learning, and we will be adding more educational and CPD programs in the future.
